:: Outpatient Detoxification
Advances in treatment now allow people to be detoxed from alcohol and substance abuse safely and comfortably on an outpatient basis. Detoxification can be physically traumatic and even life threatening in some situations. Severe physical symptoms can be so debilitating that individuals literally can not stop using. For these reasons, detox should never be attempted without medical supervision. Our medical detoxification programs begin with a comprehensive medical exam to determine the appropriate medications. Once stabilization has been achieved, clients are encouraged to follow a structured psychosocial treatment plan individually designed by one of our Therapists.
:: Suboxone / Buprenorphine Induction – Opiates
Suboxone is a "partial opiate agonist" used to treat adults addicted to opiates such as prescription narcotics and heroin. This program begins with a comprehensive examination and medical stabilization. Once medically stabilization has been achieved an individual psychosocial treatment plan will implemented. Through the course continued medical follow up visits most client’s will decrease and stop the medication as they achieve psychological and social momentum. Some client’s may chose to continue to take Suboxone on a maintenance schedule to be determined by our physicians. As with all our medical treatment programs we recommend sustained psychological support through our counseling team or Intensive Outpatient Program.
:: Vivitrol / Naltrexone – Alcohol Cravings Management
Vivitrol is a once a month injectable medication that is FDA approved for the treatment of alcohol dependence. The use of Vivitrol in conjunction with therapeutic psychosocial programs has been shown to help those recovering from alcohol dependence. For more information about long acting depot naltrexone, vivitrol.com.
:: Prometa Treatment Program – Craving & Anxiety Reduction (Alcohol, Cocaine, Meth)
This program is having a profound impact on the lives of many of our patients who are dependent on alcohol, cocaine or methamphetamine. PROMETA is designed to help relieve cravings, improve cognitive function, restore nutritional balance and initiate psychosocial counseling. The biologic aspect of this program is designed to restore function in the GABA system. GABA is the primary inhibitory neurotransmitter system in the brain. GABA dysfunction is associated with ANXIETY, COMPULSIVITY, IRRITABILITY, INSOMNIA and CRAVINGS. In our experience, the biologic aspect of the prometa treatment program has in many cases been able to dramatically reduce the ANXIETY, COMPULSIVITY, IRRITABILITY, INSOMNIA and CRAVINGS associated with stimulant and alcohol dependence. This 8-week outpatient program includes non-addictive prescription medications and nutritional supplements, prescribed and overseen by a physician, coupled with an individualized psychological treatment plan.
:: Individualized Intensive Outpatient Programs
For patients who would benefit from more intensive recovery work, the Center offers a 12-week Intensive Outpatient Program. Included in this program is an initial Psycho-social Assessment; two case management sessions; weekly drug screens; individual, group and family therapy sessions; and an optional 12-Step Facilitation Group.

*IOP services and length of treatment may vary in accor¬dance with group volume and specific patient needs.
:: Relapse Prevention Program
The prevention of relapse is a critical part of any effective treatment plan. Our Relapse prevention programs offer those people recovering from addictions strategies that will help them understand and deal with the triggers and/or stressors in their environment that led them to their alcoholism or drug addiction.
:: Individual Therapy
Many people new to recovery feel uneasy at first in a group setting. As part of our individual treatment planning those individuals would be best served to begin their treatment with one on one therapy sessions. The therapist will be responsible for developing the best possible treatment plan giving each client the best chance for achieving their goals.
:: Psychiatric Service – Assessments / Medication Management
Depression and anxiety are often associated with the addictive disease. Many people with addiction problems use drugs and/or alcohol as a form of self medication, which can mask the symptoms of more serious underlying psychiatric issues. During the initial psychosocial evaluation, clients are screened and assessed for co-occurring disorders. Once identified, clients will meet with our staff psychiatrist to develop an individual treatment plan to work in conjunction with the recovery process.
